During the holidays, most of us look forward to the warmth and security of home. But for many vulnerable seniors, home is uncertain. Rising housing costs, limited incomes, social isolation, and complex housing challenges can place older adults at risk of losing their housing and becoming homeless.
Our goal for the Home for the Holidays campaign is to raise $80,000 so that more seniors can access housing navigation and tailored support services year round so that they can age in place with dignity and thrive.

Your gift provides more than just shelter.
$25 provides a social meal to a senior living alone—reducing isolation and loneliness.
$50 can purchase necessities for our temporary housing units, turning a space into a welcoming home.
$100 contributes to moving expenses for a senior who’s been evicted.
$200 assists with a damage deposit for a senior on a limited income—opening the door to stable housing.
A small holiday gift can bring comfort, warmth and a sense of belonging to a senior who may otherwise spend the holiday alone.
Community groups are welcome to put together thoughtful gift bags for seniors with small, useful items.
All gifts will be delivered in December — just in time to warm hearts this holiday season.
Home for the Holidays is a chance to show our neighbours they are seen, valued, and not alone during the holiday season. Whether you wish to volunteer on your own, as part of a group or through your company’s volunteer program, join us in spreading holiday cheer through these opportunities:

Pick up donated gifts and bring them to our office
Drive seniors to and from the holiday meal
Deliver holiday meals to seniors who are unable to attend
🎁 Gift Helpers
Wrap holiday gifts and assemble festive gift bags
Hand-deliver gifts to seniors with a warm smile and a kind word
