Meet Lisa: our new Forms & Tax Volunteer.

Lisa was inspired to volunteer because she enjoys helping seniors navigate important paperwork and connect with the services they need. She recognizes that government forms and tax-related documents can often feel confusing or overwhelming, and she is passionate about making the process easier for those who need support. For Lisa, volunteering is a meaningful way to give back to the community while continuing to learn and grow.

Her decision to support older adults comes from a deep respect for seniors and the many contributions they have made throughout their lives. Lisa believes seniors deserve to feel valued, respected, and supported, especially when facing challenges related to finding permanent housing. She hopes that by offering patience, kindness, and practical assistance, she can help make life a little easier for those she serves.

When she’s not volunteering, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, exploring beautiful places around British Columbia, learning new things, and connecting with people from diverse cultures. She firmly believes that learning is a lifelong journey.

We’re thrilled to have Lisa join our volunteer team and look forward to the positive impact she will make in the lives of the seniors we serve.
