SSSBC held its Annual General Meeting on June 30, 2026, where members approved the Society’s annual budget, accepted the audited financial statements for the previous fiscal year, and endorsed a new three-year strategic plan to guide our work in the years ahead.

The Society also confirmed its Board leadership for the coming year. Mandy Hansen will serve as Board Chair, Jeanette Robertson becomes Vice-Chair with Naveed Nadri assuming the role of Past Chair. Kirk Robinson continues as Treasurer and Jelfie Achandy becomes Secretary. Margaret Ovenell, Aadim Rajan and Sneha Attili are Members-At-Large.

We extend our sincere thanks to Naveed for his leadership, dedication, and guidance as Chair over the past year, and we look forward to benefiting from his continued insight and mentorship in his new role.
