Grocery Shopping Program

The Grocery Shopping program is available to residents of New Westminster.

The grocery orders are taken weekly or every second week by volunteers who call those enrolled  in the morning. The order takers have flyers for the store and can let you  know what is on sale that week. The volunteers then do the shopping the next day and the groceries are delivered by the store.

Grocery orders are taken weekly Monday (delivered Tuesday) and Tuesday (delivered Wednesday). Shopping is done at the Safeway store in the Royal Square Mall.

A minimum order of $30 is required and there is a $3.50 delivery charge. Groceries must be paid for by cheque or with a pre-arranged credit card.
