Grocery Shopping Program

The grocery shopping program provides a supported shopping service to older adults 60+ residing in New Westminster. A friendly volunteer will call to take your order over the phone and Save-On-Foods Sapperton will shop and deliver your groceries. Minimum order is $40.00 and a $10 delivery charge will be applied. We will only accept Credit Card payments.

Support Calls

Friendly morning support calls are made to older adults 60+ in New Westminster who may be feeling lonely, isolated or would simply like to engage in friendly conversations. We can arrange for one of our dedicated volunteers to call each weekday (or less if preferred) to check your health and safety, provide date and time reminders or to socialize.

Senior’s Transportation Program

With the help of volunteer drivers, our Senior’s Transportation Program provides door to door services to seniors (60+) of New Westminster to medical and non-medical appointments in and around the area. Fees apply.

Light Housekeeping

Light housekeeping is provided by contractors from the private sector. Services include dusting, vacuuming, hard surface floors, kitchen, bathroom, and heavy laundry. Eligible clients that reside in New Westminster (60+) will have their yearly income assessed to determine if a subsidy may apply.
