A huge shout out to everyone who supported our inaugural Walk of Ages on June 9. We were thrilled with the turnout and so pleased with how the event unfolded. It was a great opportunity for people of all ages to come together and raise awareness and funds for seniors who face poverty, homelessness, elder abuse, and isolation.
New Westminster MLA Jennifer Whiteside was one of the many walkers taking part. She took the opportunity to announce that the Province would continue to fund our SHINE BC program with a $809,000 one-year grant.
