We are incredibly proud to share that our CEO, Alison Silgardo, has been awarded the prestigious King Charles III Coronation MedalĀ in recognition of her outstanding contributions to our community.
“While it is truly an honour to receive this recognition, I share this achievement with my incredible team at Seniors Services Society of B.C., our dedicated partners, and the remarkable seniors we serve every day. Together, we’ve built programs like SHINE that offer stability, hope, and connection for seniors at risk of homelessness,” said Alison.
For over a decade, Alison has led in the community sector with compassion and innovation, developing impactful housing navigation services and community partnerships that ensure seniors across B.C. are supported and empowered. Her leadership has been pivotal in driving change, strengthening the non-profit sector, and improving the lives of vulnerable seniors.
We celebrate this well-deserved recognition and thank Alison for her unwavering commitment to building stronger communities.
