The Saint Barnabas Hall Food Cupboard is for “emergency use only”. First time users are encouraged to register at the Greater Vancouver Food Bank to obtain more regular access to community food assistance.The Community Lunch program at Saint Barnabas Hall is offered on a First-come/First-served basis. Lunch is served (while quantities last) on Thursday starting at 11:00 am.
The Salvation Army Emergency Food Cupboard and Community Lunch Programs
Basic emergency food rations on a limited case by case basis to New Westminster residents. Appointments are made through the office and applicants are asked to bring standard proof of residency documentation. A Community Lunch Program is provided Sunday afternoon at 12:30 pm, sponsored by various community organizations. Saturday mornings a hot brunch is provided at 10 am.
The Union Gospel Mission is a drop in emergency service which offers breakfast (coffee and toast /cereal)and a hot lunch. Drop in hours from 8:30 am till 12 noon, monday to friday..
