Who We Serve and How We Serve

The Seniors Services Society programs and services are free or on a cost recovery basis.

Older Adults and seniors 55 or over, family or friends or services providers in need of information about programs and services for seniors are welcome to contact our office at 604-520-6621.

A receptionist will direct your call to the appropriate service area. Staff will then learn from the caller what their needs are and provide information that is appropriate and current.

In order to protect the senior, anyone calling on behalf of their aging relative, friend or client will be asked if that person has given permission to call our agency.

All Privacy Information legislation is carefully followed and client confidentiality is ensured.

Geographic areas served

• Throughout the Province of British Columbia
  The Seniors Services Society provides up to date information on housing options for seniors through a web based Seniors Housing Directory of BC.

• Metro Vancouver
  Housing Services and Community Education Services are available to clients and services located in Metro Vancouver.

• New Westminster
  In order to not duplicate services and due to the large number of volunteers and resources required, Support Services such as meals on wheels, dining club, and grocery shopping are only available to older adults, over 55, living in New Westminster.
